a week off....yay

Took this week off, as hubby had spring break and we needed to get Jude's room ready for his rapidly approaching arrival in June. Well, we are a pretty good team, the nursery is ready, all we need to do is get a matress for the crib! He won't be using the crib right away, so we have some time. It has rained and rained and rained. Beginning to believe the old "April Showers bring May flowers" adage. Had to explain to clients that my upcoming maternity leave is NOT A VACATION, when they thought it odd that I was taking a week off in April. Oh well, was not too snotty about it, even if I wanted to be!
The Hubby and I are headed to Waitsburg tonight to dine at the "Whoop'em up Hollow Cafe", which is supposed to be fabulous. The name comes from an actual road or something in the Waitsburg area, apparently good times were to be had in Waitsburg, hence the fun name. The food is supposed to be Southern inspired cuisine, and the desserts are apparently to die for. Yum. Now that the thought of food does not inspire wave of nausea, I actually can enjoy eating again.
